Types of Gifts
1. Unrestricted Donations: A board of community leaders directs
grant-making in behalf of the donor.
2. Restricted Donations: The donor advises the Foundation on how the funds may be used.
Restricted donations can be made as either Endowment Gifts (only income is distributed), or as Non-endowment Gifts (both income and principal are
distributed).
